As a drummer, the energy that Slynkee exudes is infectious. This was evident at the 2008 Bacardi B-Live show, which was streamed live on Myspace. Slynkee, was inspired to become a drummer at the age of 9 backstage at a Queen concert, when legendary drummer Roger Taylor gave him a few pointers and let him jam on his set. A few more sit-ins with Roger at rehearsal sessions and the road was paved.
Beginning as a local house party DJ in Queens, Slynkee went onto play at several college radio stations in Manhattan and Long Island. As his career progressed, he became well known on the club scene. Slynkee got deep into the music industry after partnering with DJ Skribble and landed his first U.S. tour. Traveling the states as well as the two-man show with Skribble really set Slynkee’s career in motion. In no time, Slynkee became one of the most requested DJs.
