Hip Hop Artist Blackwell uses real experiences in his lyrics with a mix of R&B and Hip Hop. Born and raised in Ohio, his influences range from his Great Uncle Otis Blackwell (who wrote for Elvis Presley) to Old School Pioneers: Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., and Will Smith. He’s describes his music as, “Music to wake up your eardrum”. Blackwell has opened for National Acts: LL Cool J, Kayne West, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Bizzy Bone, Cappadonna, with various gigs across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York for the last 8 years, and plays ten shows a month, and has been fortunate enough to sell over 1,000 CDs last year. He's done freelance photography for the Rap magazine, XXL, plus contributed his work to the Safety Kids Organziation (www.safetykids.org), for a CD release nationwide to promote kids awareness, and been featured in online publications of Billboard Magazine, Cosmo Gaming, and Scene Magazine in Ohio and the UK. With over 15 years of writing and performing experience to his credit combined with his marketability, He’s changing the way we present Hip Hop with songs that anyone can relate to. His talent and persona put him as one of Hip Hop’s next valuable commodities
